Taisei Lamick Journey Towards Excellent Quality

manufacturing process
Taisei Lamick Malaysia’s journey towards excellent quality dates back to the day it was first established under Malaysia Packaging Industry Berhad’s name. Influenced by Japanese technologies and work culture, the company has further evolved greatly under Taisei Lamick Japan as a new parent company. Our vision to achieve world class manufacturer status reflects our continuous quest for excellence and pursuit to fulfill customers’ quality expectation. We are committed in ensuring the products are consistently produced and controlled to the standards. The plant facilities have been upgraded with the intention to create a controlled working environment thus diminishing the inherent risks of work safety and sub-standard quality.
With the aim to keep a low level of pollutant inside the process area, we control the environmental parameters like temperature, humidity and pressure thus reduce the chance of cross contamination to the product. Similarly, the control has been extended to personnel contamination where workers have to clean up and enter and exit the process areas through airlocks and air showers, and special clothing has to be worn to trap contaminants that are naturally generated by skin and the body.

manufacturing process
In October 1995, we duly received the Quality Management System (QMS) MS: ISO 9002 : 1994 certification from SIRIM Certification body. Our quality journey continues when we successfully upgraded the QMS to MS: ISO 9001: 2000 in November 2002. The quality management system is fully described in the quality manual, operating procedures, work instructions and related documents; the requirements of which are followed by all employees at all times. We recognize that both technology and people are essential to high-quality manufacturing. Each operation requires appropriate measuring methods and devices that can closely monitor the manufacturing processes. Sophisticated equipment such as In-line inspection machines are used to detect defects. This allows our operation to detect deviations from the processes immediately and to make the necessary adjustments.
